South Africa is privileged to host the second International Symposium on Moringa (ISM) in November 2019. The symposium will be hosted by the South African Moringa Development Association (MDASA) and the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) in collaboration with various universities under the aegis of the International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) at the CSIR convention center in Pretoria on the 10th to 13th of November 2019. The symposium is expected to bring together experts on moringa from all over the world, making this an ideal opportunity to expand our knowledge and create network opportunities.
The theme of the conference is “The Power of Moringa in Solving Global Challenges”. Under this overarching theme various sub-themes will include. The power of moringa in:
Nutrition Health Cosmetics Pharmaceuticals Environmental issues e.g. climate change, erosion control and the carbon footprint Food security Agro-processing Fuel and energy Bio-extracts Animal feed Product development, enterprise development and job creation.
